Mississauga's #BollywoodMonster Mashup — Canada's largest South Asian festival — is returning to Mississauga Celebration Square this August 5 and 6, welcoming actor Sunny Leone, musicians Yasser Desai and Aakanksha Sharma and more for a weekend of performances, meet-and-greets, food, music and fun.

"We're back in person for you!" Executive Director Vikas Kohli said in a statement. "You'll be able to meet Sunny Leone, dance to Yasser, Aakanksha and Aaman's hit songs, eat delicious food and shop at the #BollywoodMonster Bazaar. We've got kabobs, kulfi, dosas, samosas, gol gappe, chaat papri, bhel puri, clothing, jewellery, and handicrafts. We're adding more food and shopping options from local businesses daily."

The festival will also provide up to 100 attendees with the chance for a photo op with Sunny Leone, with proceeds going to support the non-profit #MonsterArts for Youth program, which provides school children of all backgrounds hands-on workshops in Bollywood music, Bhangra dance, Tamil singing, ghazal writing, mandala-making and more. Photo ops are currently available for pre-purchase here.

This year's fest will also feature free Bollywood & Garba dance lessons, West Indian drumming, tennis and crafts for kids at the #BollywoodMonster KidZone, which is presented by Tim Hortons. There's also the Seniors Lounge, which features seated dancing, card games, accessible seating and more. Head to the festival's website for more info.

The festival is presented by monstrARTity, the award-winning nonprofit dedicated to sharing the arts with both children and seniors. The 2018 edition of #BollywoodMonster Mashup was rated the No. 1 festival experience at Celebration Square by the city of Mississauga.

Last year's online-only #BollywoodMonster Mashup featured an appearance from Canada's Drag Race winner Priyanka, plus Raftaar, Javed Ali, Harshdeep Kaur and more.
