Hollywood couple Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have revealed that they are separated after less than one year of marriage.
A rep for the pair said that they were taking a break to focus on "themselves and careers," but that they would remain dedicated co-parents to all of their shared pets and animals.
In a statement to People, the rep said:
Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what's best while they both focus on themselves and careers. They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart. Please respect their process and privacy.
Rumours of the split first began when Cyrus posted a photo to Instagram in which she wasn't wearing her wedding ring.
Cyrus and Hemsworth have been together on-and-off for ten years, after co-starring in films like The Hunger Games and The Last Song. They were finally married last December.
