Lady Gaga Confirms 'Joker: Folie à Deux' Role, Shares Teaser

Gaga is rumoured to be playing Harley Quinn in the 'Joker' sequel

Back in June, it was reported that Lady Gaga was somehow going to be involved in a musical Joker sequel — likely playing a new iteration of Harley Quinn — called Joker: Folie à Deux, helmed by Joker director Todd Phillips. The news sparked a lot of conversation and at least one unhinged song, but it was unconfirmed until now.

Lady Gaga herself has posted a teaser for Folie à Deux featuring two stiffly-dancing silhouettes — Joaquin Phoenix and Miss Gaga — and announcing a release date of October 4, 2024.

Everyone just has to stay alive for two more years and we'll get to see Lady Gaga in clown makeup singing songs about society with Joaquin Phoenix. That's assuming the movie will in fact be a musical, but the teaser — and Gaga's involvement — make it seem pretty likely.

See the brief teaser below, plus a couple reactions to Gaga's confirmed involvement. Just imagine the press tour alone!
