After a few years of halted and hybrid programming due to the pandemic, the Kingston Canadian Film Festival (KCFF) is back in action and in person for its 23rd edition in 2023, sharing its full lineup of participating films.

The all-Canadian film celebration is due to take place from March 2 to 5 in downtown Kingston across multiple venues including the Screening Room, Baby Grand, the Isabel and the Regina Rosen, among others.

Screenings of Black Ice, Brother, I Like Movies, To Kill a Tiger, Rosie, Viking and Riceboy Sleeps will take place at this year's festival, in addition to shorts, Doug Falconer and Mike Downie spotlights, and special events.

Such events include a screening of Den Mother Crimson, Sweat and the Slaight Music Video Showcase. Further, An Evening with Kevin McDonald has been scheduled for March 3 at the Broom Factory, while the KCFF Awards Show will close out the festivities on March 5 at the Grand Theatre's Davies Lounge.

"After a couple years of working remotely (for the most part), our festival team is reuniting to bring you all the 2023 Kingston Canadian Film Festival," said Marc Garniss, KCFF festival director. "We're working hard to deliver a full in-person festival, with many of the best Canadian films of the year, special guest appearances, and lots to do over four short days this March."

Garniss continued, "We thank everyone who has stuck by us through the digital and hybrid events over the last couple years. We were able to reach new audience members from across the world and we're hopeful we've made some new fans for both KCFF and Canadian film."

Tickets for the festival go on sale February 6 at 10 a.m. ET.
