With Paul Thomas Anderson's new film Phantom Thread arriving during the holiday season, we're now getting word on the accompanying soundtrack by Radiohead's Jonny Greenwood. While so far there is no firm release date for the album, it will be arriving via Nonesuch Records.
As Film Music Reporter points out, the label has signed on to release Greenwood's score, which features new original music composed by Greenwood and done with the London Contemporary Orchestra and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. The soundtrack is expected to arrive via Nonesuch next month.
As previously reported, Phantom Thread will be Daniel Day-Lewis' final film. In it, Day-Lewis stars Reynolds Woodcock, a dressmaker who is obsessed with his work and his lover.
