Johnny Depp and Amber Heard Apologize for Smuggling Dogs into Australia in Hilariously Awkward Video

Stars, they're just like us. They eat pizza, they get annoyed by traffic and, occasionally, they disobey international laws and smuggle their Yorkshire terriers into other countries. Such was the crime of Johnny Depp and Amber Heard, who falsified documents to bring their dogs Pistol and Boo into Australia.

After Heard plead guilty to the crime of pooch smuggling, her and husband Depp were forced to release an apology video.

They shared it via the Facebook page of Australian politician Barnaby Joyce, who initially threatened to euthanize the dogs that snuck into his country.

If you've always wanted to hear Amber Heard sing the praises of Australia's "strong biosecurity laws" and Johnny Depp say, "When you disrespect Australia, they will tell you firmly," you're in for a treat. The video is one of the most awkward things we've seen in a while, and a nice bit of schadenfreude to delight in with your Monday morning coffee.

Watch the two actors apologize for their pup crimes below.
