Anamanaguchi are currently touring in support of the Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game soundtrack, which they scored back in 2010. On one of the final dates of the North American tour, the group were joined by Michelle Zauner of Japanese Breakfast, who helped them perform "Black Sheep."
Zauner was brought out during the encore of June 2's Music Hall of Williamsburg show in Brooklyn. She took lead vocals on the track, and as you can see in the footage below, lent a rousing, bouncy air to the cover.
Originally performed by an early-career Brie Larson, and penned by Metric, the song arrived as an Anamanaguchi bop for the video game adaptation the same year as the film's release.
