The sequel to Andrés Muschietti's IT began shooting only a few months ago, and on the spookiest day of the year, those behind the forthcoming film are putting the hype train in motion with a poster reveal.
The barebones graphic points to IT: Chapter Two arriving in theatres on September 6, 2019.
As previously reported, shooting for the sequel film began in Toronto this past July.
A cast photo shared by Warner Bros. that same month revealed the involvement of Jessica Chastain, Bill Hader, James McAvoy, Jay Ryan, James Ransone, Isaiah Mustafa and Andy Bean. Bill Skarsgard will reprise his role as Pennywise.
Muschietti is also set to return as director for Chapter Two, while one of the original screenplay's three writers, Gary Dauberman, worked on the script.
