Normie culture is having a huge week thanks to Oprah Winfrey's bombshell sitdown interview with Meghan Markle and her hubby Prince Harry. The interview had plenty of revelations, including a suggestion that the Royal Family had made racist remarks about the skin colour of Meghan and Harry's son Archie. Now, Buckingham Palace has released an official statement.

Yes, even the Royal Family is down to respond to controversy with a "listening and learning" style statement. It's not quite a screencap of the Notes app, but it comes pretty damn close to that of a cancelled celebrity.

Here's what the statement said in full:

The whole family is saddened to learn the full extent of how challenging the last few years have been for Harry and Meghan. The issues raised, particularly that of race, are concerning. While some recollections may vary, they are taken very seriously and will be addressed by the family privately. Harry, Meghan and Archie will always be much loved family members.
