Comedian and Eminem impersonator, Chris D'Elia, was accused of sexual misconduct last week by a number of women, many of whom claim he initiated sexual contact when they were underage. D'Elia shared a statement denying the allegations and has not been charged, but some of his work is being removed from streaming services due to the allegations.
In 2011, the stoner office comedy Workaholics featured D'Elia on an episode called "To Friend a Predator." As its title suggests, the show saw D'Elia appear as a child molesting character named Topher.
The show had been available to stream on Hulu, Amazon Prime Video and Comedy Central, but this specific episode has since been scrubbed. Similarly, Variety has confirmed that D'Elia's 2013 comedy special White Male. Black Comic has also been removed from Comedy Central's streaming platforms.
D'Elia also previously starred alongside Whitney Cummings on her series Whitney. She released a new statement to Twitter, saying, "It's taken me a couple days to process the information I have learned about Chris. I'm devastated and enraged by what I've read and learned. This is a pattern of predatory behavior. This abuse of power is enabled by silence. Now that I'm aware, I won't be silent."
