It appears that Danny McBride's preacher-minded HBO series The Righteous Gemstones is finally getting ready to come back for Season 2. After all, today HBO announced some notable additions to the cast in Eric Andre, Jason Schwartzman and Eric Roberts.
All three actors will be joining McBride on his show, which also features John Goodman, Edi Patterson. Adam Devine, Walton Goggins, Cassidy Freeman, Tony Cavalero, Tim Baltz and Greg Alan Williams.
As Deadline reports, Schwartzman will play Thaniel, who is journalist. Andre, meanwhile, will take on the role Lyle Lissons, a pastor of a megachurch in Texas. And finally, Roberts will portray a character named Junior, who was a childhood friend of Eli that suddenly reappears.
Unfortunately, though, there is no word on when we'll actually get The Righteous Gemstones Season 2, so you will have to stay tuned.
