Alec Baldwin Is Turning His Donald Trump Impression into a Book

Nearly everyone enjoys Alec Baldwin's exaggerated Donald Trump impression on SNL (save for, of course, Donald Trump himself). As such, the actor is capitalizing on the moment and writing a satirical memoir in character.

Working with author and Spy Magazine editor Kurt Anderson, Baldwin is piecing together a Trump-styled memoir called You Can't Spell America Without Me: The Really Tremendous Inside Story of My Fantastic First Year as President Donald J. Trump.

"I think we'll be channelling and amplifying the real Trump," Andersen told the New York Times. "Writing for a five- or 10-minute sketch is different than writing a book, which has to be a narrative."

Baldwin added, "I think it's fair to say that Kurt will do most of the writing. We have that arrangement whereby he doesn't put on the wig, I don't open up a Word document."

You Can't Spell America Without Me: The Really Tremendous Inside Story of My Fantastic First Year as President Donald J. Trump arrives on November 7, almost one year to the day after Trump was elected president. The audiobook version will be read by Alec Baldwin in character as Trump.
