Japan's Zoobombs are returning to Ontario and Quebec for a seven-stop tour this November, celebrating 30 years as a band.
The band — featuring Don Matsuo on vocals and guitar, Matta on vocals and keyboards, Bukka Billy on drums and Mutch on bass — first performed in Canada in 1998, returning many times throughout the 2000s and 2010s.
The 2024 tour kicks off on November 21 at Hamilton's Casbah and wraps at London's Supply & Demand. They'll be playing Toronto's Monarch Tavern on November 28.
Celebrating their 30th anniversary revival, the tour will also coincide with the release of THE BEST 1994-2024, a best-of vinyl LP arriving via Quebec label P572. That's not all though — it sounds like new music is also on the horizon.
"[Don Matsuo] is very happy to finally be back in North America to play for old and new fans," said Sam Murdock, label head at P572, in a statement. "They have a new album ready and in the meantime there are two new songs on the new 'best of' vinyl. They are amazing and legendary."
