Yeah Yeah Yeahs are doing the holiday thing today and released their very own yuletide number, "All I Want for Christmas." The track is currently up and streaming at the group's MySpace page and, hey, it's actually pretty good.
Along with "All I Want for Christmas," the NYC trio have also created a nice little, overly Photoshopped Christmas pic for you, which finds all three members sporting digital Santa hats and surrounded by a wide array of festive critters.
In other YYYs news, the band still haven't revealed any firm release date for their "very different" follow-up to 2006's Show Your Bones but they haven't slyly deleted their enthusiastic album announcement either, so we assume the record's still a go. According to the band, we can expect the yet-untitled album sometime early next year, with the YYY ensuring us last summer that they were "damn close" to finishing the record.
For now, the band are simply saying, "Happy Holidaze!"
