Ween have announced a deluxe 30th anniversary reissue of Chocolate and Cheese, which includes a remastered version of the original album, outtakes and previously unreleased demos. It's arriving August 2, and today they've shared a previously unreleased version of "Junkie Boy."
In a press release about the reissue, Mickey Melchiondo (otherwise known as Dean Ween), said, "Keeping with Ween tradition, Aaron and I probably picked all the wrong songs, mixed them, and now here they are."
Among the bonus tracks are "Warm Socks," "Smooth Mover" and "Dirty Money," plus demos for "Candi," "Take Me Away," "Voodoo Lady" and "Roses Are Free."
Audio engineer Bernie Grundman remastered Chocolate and Cheese, and he also mastered the 15 bonus songs.
