Wednesday have put out one of the best indie rock albums of the year with their third LP, Rat Saw God. After winning the battle in Toronto this summer, the quintet have announced another slate of North American tour dates for 2024 — including a lone Canadian stop in Vancouver — as well as the upcoming release of a documentary film called Rat Bastards of Haw Creek.
Directed by Zach Romeo, the doc spotlights the band's quiet, rural lives in the North Carolina mountains, and how that stands in contrast with their growing fame and the uproarious energy of their live shows. The film will be released on October 19, and you can watch the trailer below.
Wednesday's 2024 North American tour dates will kick off in their home state with a performance in Raleigh on January 19. After that, they'll venture out into the broader US — save for a show at Vancouver's Rickshaw Theatre toward the end of the run on May 22. Before getting into another festival season, the band will wrap up their time on the road in Omaha on May 30.
