In case you were wondering if being a multi-talented artist included sports, the answer is still yes — just ask these Canadian musicians. Oh, and Pavement!

The band's Stephen Malkmus and Bob Nastanovich continue prove this theory with the release of video footage of their the doubles tennis match against Office Hours podcast hosts Tim Heidecker and Doug "DJ Douggpound" Lussenhop.

The quartet agreed to play three sets of matches after Nastanovich accepted the challenge in a record time of 22 minutes last May via Twitter. The match-up featured Steve West on celebrity ball boy duties, and is appropriately narrated by lucrative, legendary voiceover artist John Lurie.

The post-game interview saw the duo ranking their own records; an apt re-listing as the latest anniversary reissue, Slanted and Enchanted, which arrives in August. That 1992 album also notably robbed Dan Bejar of 10 years of his life.

Last year, Pavement announced a lone stop in Toronto on the North American leg of their reunion tour

How did the iconic, unbearably indie rock unit measure up against the podcasters? Watch the standoff below.

Heidecker's new album High School arrives next week, for which he'll mercifully tour without any "anti-trans weirdo surprise guests."
