It's a big day for angsty people into guitar music. Johnny Marr was a special guest at PJ Harvey's show in Manchester, UK last night (October 3), and they played a few songs together.
The pair played Harvey's "The Desperate Kingdom of Love" after she welcomed Marr on stage, and then he returned at the encore to play "C'Mon Billy" and "White Chalk." Watch it happen below.
After the gig, Marr posted a photo of him on stage, calling it "a real privilege to play those songs." "Love ya Polly," he concluded.
Harvey is currently on a European tour in support of her album I Inside the Old Year Dying. She recently hinted that she'll cross the pond next year for some North American tour dates.
Marr is also keeping busy, as his book Marr's Guitars arrives October 17, and his Best Of album Spirit Power coming shortly after.
