Pussy Riot are far from quieting their politically charged musical messages anytime soon. Following the release of last year's Donald Trump-denouncing xxx EP, the punk group have unveiled a surprisingly poppy new track called "Police State," complete with an accompanying video.
The clip was directed by Matt Creed and stars Chloë Sevigny as a law enforcement officer and "fun-stopper" to the kids. In a statement, the band explained the metaphor: "Today's youth is strapped stuck to watch political leaders run and ruin the world."
In addition to marking the 100th anniversary of the 1917 October Revolution in Russia, the clip for "Police State" also conveniently arrives on the first anniversary of Trump's election win.
Watch the video for "Police State" below.
