Bob Dylan covered the work of Frank Sinatra once again on his latest LP Fallen Angels, but opted to reinterpret the work of a different artist during a live performance last week.
Last Thursday (June 9,) Dylan and his band closed their set at the Greek Theater in Berkeley, CA, with a ripping rendition of the Lynyrd Skynyrd classic "Free Bird." Fan-shot footage of the group working their way through the song's lengthy solo section can be found below.
We'll wait and see if Dylan and company perform any other classics from the Southern rockers at the upcoming Desert Trip festival this October.
Fallen Angels is out now through Columbia. Watch footage of Dylan and his band playing "Free Bird" below.
