Alanis Morissette hasn't shared a new album in over a year now, but she's fulfilling her civic duty by tiding us over with regular surprise concert cameos. From dominating the American Idol stage to joining the Foo Fighters in Japan for a Sinéad O'Connor cover, Morissette already had a couple of key summer performances.
Last night's (October 5) surprise duet with P!nk on her 1995 hit (and Exclaim! karaoke staple) "You Oughta Know" was just the icing on the cake.
P!nk was in L.A. as part of her massive Summer Carnival Tour when she launched into the cover, taking on the first verse solo before Morissette stepped on stage for the iconic chorus to a stadium's worth of screaming fans.
Anything can happen at a P!nk concert, and with two dates each in Vancouver and Montreal still on the docket, it's anyone's guess who she'll bring out (or kick out).
