The Walkmens brand stinkin new album, You & Me, physically hit the store shelves this week, and as is the custom with such things, the New York five-piece have a whole swak of tour dates lined up as well. Along with the numerous U.S. stops, the band will be hitting Vancouver, Victoria, Montreal and Toronto.
The band kicked off the tour earlier this week at a hometown New York show, which strangely enough they preceded with a unbelievably awkward TV spot on Fox News. With the goofy-but-helpful banner of "The Walkmen Are an Indie Rock Band running below, singer Hamilton Leithauser fielded questions about such hard-hitting topics as inspiration, David Letterman and, um, bus fare. But to see how cringe-worthy the whole thing is, you really have to watch it for yourself, which you can do by clicking here.
