Classic '90s show Seinfeld inspired Wale's recent The Album About Nothing, and now the connection between sitcom and LP is about to take on a new dimension, as Wale has been confirmed as the host of a summer series on TBS called Seinfeld Remix.
How exactly will the show work? According to a newly unveiled trailer, "TBS is mashing up hip-hop star Wale and Seinfeld." It seems that the program will highlight the moments from the show that inspired The Album About Nothing.
The show is set to premiere this coming Monday (June 15) at 6 p.m. EDT, and it will run weeknights "all summer long." In other words, there should be dozens of Wale-hosted episodes of Seinfeld Remix before this is done.
