Wale Prepping 'Ambition' LP for Fall Release

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Jul 21, 2011

Though last week rapper Wale dropped J. Cole collaboration "Bad Girls Club," chances are the single isn't enough to sate fans of last year's Attention Deficit for very long. Thankfully, the artist has leaked some details about his follow-up, titled Ambition.

A representative for Wale's label, Warner Bros., has confirmed that the DC-based rhymer will be delivering his next disc November 1. Not too much else has been revealed about the upcoming set, but you can watch a video of Wale working, dancing and smoking in the studio with DJ Toomp below. The clip also has the Maybach Music booster dishing on how he's stressing to make his sophomore effort the best record yet.

"Maybe we'll know what success means," he says as "Bad Girls Club" strikes up in the background. Check it below.

In case the footage didn't convey how wild the sessions are, Wale further tweeted that he's having a blast with his buddies.

"Workin on this album, me @thefuturemogul @bksTONEP @MrVicc @blackcobain and @treofucb all live in a frat house..can't expln the ratchetness."
