Canadian prog-metal visionaries Voivod have fit Target Earth's title track with a creepy, computer animated clip.
The video was prepped by Italian filmmaker/multimedia artist Nicola Piovesan and based on the artwork of Voivod drummer Away (a.k.a. Michel Langevin). "We knew he was the right person to capture the cyber world of Voivod," Away said in a statement of Piovesan's 3D motion capture work. "To us, the result is simply spectacular!"
What we get is a slick yet sinister clip where a cyborg crew crush the tough grooves and occasionally jazz-fusion-flavoured riffs of "Target Earth" in one room, while a conflict between an all-seeing android and a couple other characters takes place in another.
