Returning for its 24th annual edition, Victoria Ska & Reggae Festival is due to run June 21 to 25 at Ship Point (Inner Harbour), and organizers have shared details of this year's event.
The festival will be headlined by Maxi Priest, Chali 2na & the House of Vibe, Brother Ali, the Aggrolites and Sister Carol, with Kid Koala, Congo Natty, Stickybuds, Perfect Giddiman, Junior Toots (the son of the late Toots Hibbert performing a Toots and the Maytals tribute) Caleb Hart & Co., Exco Levi and many more artists spanning the genres of ska and reggae, as well as hip-hop, funk, global roots, bass music and calypso, joining the festivities.
In addition to musical performances, the Victoria Ska & Reggae will offer free public workshops with artists and art courtesy of Rocksteady Collective, while VIP guests will enjoy food inspired by artists playing at the festival.
Festival passes are on sale now via Ticketweb, while individual tickets to all events are also on sale, subject to availability.
