Unknown Mortal Orchestra

"Necessary Evil" (video)

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Nov 12, 2015

Following a video for "Can't Keep Checking My Phone," Aussie indie rockers Unknown Mortal Orchestra have rolled out another clip for a track off of this years' Multi-Love LP.

This time it's "Necessary Evil" getting the visual treatment, and it's an adorable sight to behold. The animated piece was directed by Sean Solomon and tells the story of a young couple. They're ultimately torn apart by insecurity and paranoia, but their pastel colouring and cartoonish features ensure that they still look cute in the midst of a relationship gone wrong.

Multi-Love is out now on Jagjaguwar, and you can see the band's upcoming North American tour dates listed above the new video. Scroll past them to watch the clip for "Necessary Evil."
