Unearth Sign to eOne Music, Prepping New Lamb of God-assisted LP

Following a long run with Metal Blade Records, Massachusetts metal combo Unearth have announced that their next LP will arrive via new North American label home eOne Music.

While not too much has been revealed at present about the group's follow-up to 2011's Darkness in the Light, a press release points to a late 2013 release. The as-yet-untitled album will also drop via Century Media in Europe, Howling Bull in Japan and on 3Wise in Australia.

"We know this new beginning of sorts will bring bigger and better things for Unearth and our fans and we couldn't be more excited for the future of all things Unearth," singer Trevor Phipps said in a statement. "We are currently in the studio recording some of the most aggressive, anthemic and energized metal we have ever written and we look forward to unleashing it to you all when it is finished."

Song details may not yet have been delivered, but a tweet from guitarist Buz McGrath revealed that Lamb of God's Mark Morton recently popped into the studio to blast off a guest bass solo.

Phipps promised more news about the LP, as well as touring info, is on the way. As for now, the band are set to hit Europe later this week to play a bunch of festivals. You can find the info over here.
