Enter Comrade Britney. The internet has officially been set aflame after pop queen Britney Spears outed herself as a voice for the proletariat in an Instagram post that directly calls for redistribution of wealth as well as a general strike.
Yesterday (March 24), Spears posted the following quote, captioning the photo with a red rose — the symbol of democratic socialism — to her Instagram profile:
Needless to say, Twitter is losing its absolute collective mind, calling Spears a "communist queen" and bumping the term "Comrade Britney" into its trending list.
