Long-running New York art rock act TV on the Radio have quietly been working on a follow-up to 2011's Nine Types of Light for some time. Now, they've finally revealed some details about the project.
Via a newly shared trailer, the band revealed that their forthcoming album, which marks their sixth overall, will be called Seeds. The record marks their first LP since the passing of bassist and producer Gerard Smith, who died of lung cancer in 2011.
It's also their first album since leaving Interscope. The album will instead arrive sometime this fall via Harvest Records.
Few other details are known about the LP, but the trailer for the release is available to stream below. Though it's only 26 seconds long, we get to hear a drum fill, some piano and an atmospheric wash of ambient guitar.
