Tory Lanez was arrested early Sunday morning (July 12) on a concealed weapons charge after police were called to a residence in the Hollywood Hills.
Police officers responded to a disturbance call at a residence around 4:30 a.m. local time, TMZ reports.
Upon arrival, witnesses reported people were arguing in an SUV before someone fired shots in the air and the vehicle took off. Officers soon located the vehicle and found Lanez, Megan Thee Stallion and another woman inside.
Officers allegedly found a concealed weapon in Lanez's vehicle and charged him with a felony. TMZ adds that Megan Thee Stallion was taken to hospital for treatment after reportedly cutting her foot on broken glass inside the SUV.
As social media footage archived below shows, both Lanez and Megan had attended a pool party at Kylie Jenner's house in the Hollywood Hills Saturday evening. The LAPD confirmed to People that Lanez was charged and released Sunday after posting $35,000 bail. He is scheduled to appear in court on October 13.
UPDATE (7/15, 2 p.m. ET): Megan Thee Stallion has addressed the reports of Lanez's arrest, writing she was hospitalized due to "[suffering] gunshot wounds, as a result of a crime that was committed against me and done with the intention to physically harm me." You can read her statement below.
