We can't believe it either: Todd Rundgren and Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo have teamed up to release a ska song. Dubbed "Down with the Ship," you can hear the pair's latest below.
Rundgren points out on Facebook that "Down with the Ship" is a co-write between Cuomo and himself. The two also share vocal duties, between chorus harmonies and hackneyed patois.
"Down with the Ship" also carries some political weight, as Rundgren explained, "It's just a little parable about what happens when you align yourself with a treacherous leader." We're sure you can decode that reference for yourself.
"Down with the Ship" is the second single from Rundgren's forthcoming album Space Force. His rollout will see individual singles shared digitally every three or four weeks, with the entire album due in early 2021. Space Force will follow 2017's White Knight.
