Retro-styled piano-man Tobias Tesso Jr. has had a big year thanks to the release of his album Goon on Arts & Crafts, and now we can hear the stand-out track "Without You" in a new light thanks to an alternate version that appears on a 7-inch.
While the original version of "Without You" was a straight-ahead piano rock ballad, this version slathers it with mournful, dramatic strings. These effectively add to the song's pathos.
Scroll past the songwriter's (full-band) tour dates below to hear the tune. It comes on a new double A-sided 7-inch with the early recording "True Love."
