Last year, lo-fi indie pop combo Times New Viking made the jump from Matador to Merge Records when they issued their punnily titled long-player, Dancer Equired. The group are apparently in need of a change of scenery again, and have partnered with the Siltbreeze imprint for their upcoming Over & Over EP.
A press release confirms that the band have returned to Stiltbreeze, who issued the group's 2005 debut Dig Yourself and the following year's Present The Paisley Reich, to issue the six-song mini-set. The EP was apparently written in a during a recent spurt of activity, and, in perhaps a nod to returning to Siltbreeze, "tempers the primal panic-punk of [Times New Viking's] salad days and fuses it with the sustained, keen pop skill found within their later catalogue.
Song samples have yet to arrive, but you can check out the tracklisting down below and the art up above.
Over & Over:
1. Sleep-in
2. Telephone Wires
3. Y2K2
4. Future with Girls
5. Middle Class Drags
6. At The Bars
