Time in Malta

With the dreaded emo bug infecting punk, rock and hardcore it was only a matter of time before metal succumbed to its genteel influence. Although screamo might be a better term for Time in Malta — the melodies, hooks and sung vocals are coupled with throat abuse, metallic riffs and a vague similarity to Snapcase during Time in Malta’s more aggressive moments. Not entirely metal, nor emo, Time in Malta straddle a line that should appeal to fans of both.
