Three Days Grace reunited with their former lead vocalist Adam Gontier on stage in Huntsville, AB, while touring behind their seventh studio album, Explosions, last spring. Even before that, Gontier had hinted that the band's original lineup might get back together at some point — and it truly is never too late: Three Days Grace have announced Gontier's return to the lineup, with Matt Walst (who replaced him on lead vocals in 2013) staying on as co-lead singer.

The band took to Instagram last night (October 2) to tease the news to fans with a short video clip of Gontier leaving Walst a message ahead of linking up in the studio, ending with a "2x" added to the band's name.

"I feel like it's been seamless, better than we were expecting," Gontier said of the reunion. "It's like we got back in a room together and picked up where we left off. We have been friends for so long it's kind of natural to get back in the room together."

Walst added, "It's been so much fun and inspiring making this record. Combining over 20 years of Three Days Grace and doing something that no band has ever done. I'm excited for the fans to hear it!"

Check out the teaser below, and stay tuned — Three Days Grace have promised details about the aforementioned new music and touring plans with Gontier back in the fold to come.
