Adam Gontier Says the Original Three Days Grace Lineup May Reunite "at Some Point"

It's Never Too Late

Despite his abrupt departure from the band ten years ago, former Three Days Grace frontman Adam Gontier says the band's original iteration could be reunited in the future.

"We haven't really talked about doing anything, not yet anyway, but I feel like something like that is most likely down the road at some point," said Gontier in an interview with Rock Feed, adding that "it would be a lot of fun."

According to Gontier, the three founding members of Three Days Grace — consisting of him, drummer Neil Sanderson and bassist Brad Walst — have continued to mature after he left the project in 2013. "We've all grown up. It's been a while, there's no hard feelings or anything like that. We're all in touch now, we talk and text and stuff."

He added, "When you spend twenty years in close quarters with anybody… it can take its toll. Everybody gets into different things," noting that any lingering beef has been squashed. "There's a certain point where it just doesn't matter anymore. I think we've all kinda reached that point where it's kind of pointless. Life's too short to be angry at old things or old grudges."

While the band's efforts to rekindle their friendship are relatively new, Gontier, Walst and Sanderson haven't jammed together just yet. However, they recently caught up at their old high school in Ontario, where they were inducted into the Norwood District High School Hall of Honour.

After his departure from Three Days Grace, Gontier was replaced by Walst's brother, Matt Walst. Since then, he's gone on to front supergroup Saint Asonia, featuring members of Staind and Art of Dying.
