Jack White's band the Raconteurs released their new album Help Us Stranger last week, including a special edition though Third Man Records' Vault subscription service, which came with a special moving lenticular cover. Now, fans have discovered the package includes a hidden Beatles tribute.

If you peel back the glued-on lenticular cover of Help Us Stranger, you'll discover a secret tribute to the Beatles' infamous "butcher cover" for their 1966 compilation Yesterday and Today. The tribute shows the members of the Raconteurs — frontmen Jack White and Brendan Benson, bassist Jack Lawrence, and drummer Patrick Keeler — posing with the dismembered baby dolls and bloody hunks of meat.

Of course, revealing the image involves wrecking the album cover and leaving tears in the jacket where the glue was pulled off. Still, it's a neat Easter egg for fans who picked up the Vault package.

Check out various pictures of the secret album cover below, courtesy of the Jack White subreddit.
