BY Calum SlingerlandPublished Jun 29, 2018

This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Band's acclaimed 1968 debut album Music from Big Pink, and to mark the occasion, the record is set to receive an expanded reissue.

The reissue arrives August 31 through UMC in a variety of formats, including a Super Deluxe box set that includes the album on CD, Blu-ray and 2xLP formats, in addition to a 7-inch record and a photobook. You can find an unboxing video below.

All formats will feature a new stereo mix of the album produced from the original four-track analog masters, complete with studio chatter from the recording sessions. The package also contains five outtakes and alternate takes of album tracks, along with an unreleased a cappella version of "I Shall Be Released."
