Whatever your expectations might be for a band named Teen Tits Wild Wives, chances are they will be met by the six-piece Toronto "noise gang." Over the course of their set, they ground their way through a range of influences, mashing together doom, country, sludge, noise, death metal, jazz, math rock and pop for a jarring experience. While entertaining in parts, TTWW were far too messy and erratic to make a strong first impression. Are they a joke? I couldn't get a definitive answer from the actual music but if anyone ever wondered whether Mr. Bungle were influential, Teen Tits Wild Wives are your answer.
