TD Toronto Jazz Fest Announces 2022 Lineup with Smokey Robinson, DijahSB, TOBi, Kamaal Wiliams, Hua Li 化力

Amber Mark, Gregory Porter, Tush, Lydia Persaud, Erez Zobary and many more will also perform

TD Toronto Jazz Festival is set to return in 2022 with massive plans for its 35th anniversary: organizers have announced 10 days of free outdoor concerts, and promise that this year's festival will be the biggest yet.

Taking place in Toronto from June 24 to July 3, the festival will host 60 free and ticketed performances and workshops at various downtown Toronto venues, in addition to virtual livestream events.

Performers for this year's event include Smokey Robinson, Savannah Ré, TOBiAmber Mark, DijahSB, Kamaal WiliamsGregory Porter, Tush, Lydia Persaud, Erez Zobary, Hua Li 化力, Cory Henry, GoGo Penguin and more, with The New Power Generation: Featuring the Music of Prince — a tribute to the music of Prince — kicking things off at Queen's Park North TD Main Stage at the corner of Avenue Road and Bloor Street West.

This year's edition features over 90 percent Canadian artists, with the festival focusing on getting local musicians and crews back to work following the pandemic's toll on the music industry.
