Taking Back Sunday Prep 'TAYF10' Acoustic Album and Film

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Jun 5, 2013

Poppy Long Island post-hardcore vets Taking Back Sunday may currently be working on the follow-up to their 2011 self-titled set, but before that album arrives, they'll issue a film and an acoustic LP celebrating their 2002 debut Tell All Your Friends. The band self-release both on June 18.

According to a press release, the TAYF10 film compiles live footage captured in Los Angeles and Chicago last year as part of the band's 10th anniversary tour cycle behind Tell All Your Friends. The film is described as showcasing "a rare, intimate acoustic performance of Tell All Your Friends" that finds the act teaming up onstage with Straylight Run's Michelle DaRosa, who had added vocals to the LP's "Bike Scene" and "Ghost Man on Third." The film also features some behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with band members.

You can see a trailer for the concert flick down below.

TAYF10 Acoustic, meanwhile, was culled from the same performances and "includes instrumentation and arrangements created specifically for these intimate shows." You can check out the tracklisting down below and the artwork up above.
