Stormy art rockers Swans have a new album called To Be Kind on the way this spring, and Michael Gira and company have now announced plans to support it with a tour in the coming months.
Gira is currently in Europe, where he will spend the remainder of March playing solo gigs. The full-band schedule begins in North America in mid-May. After a few U.S. appearances, Swans will head back across the pond to the UK before returning to North America once again in June and July.
The later North American leg includes gigs in Quebec City (June 17) and Montreal (June 18), plus an appearance at Toronto's Yonge-Dundas Square for NXNE on June 20.
