The final night of the fest had the benefit of a partied-out, captive audience, bleary-eyed, couch dreaming and beer forcing, and Sunset Rubdown, the project of Wolf Parades Spencer Krug and some like-minded art/rock nerds, was the perfect fit. Not entirely divorced from the WP sound, the Rubdown are a weird, slightly theatrical tangent shooting off from the indie rocking. In the Ukrainian Fed building, packed to the gills, they ran through their quirky repertoire highlighted by the stupendous "Dear Sons and Daughters of Hungry Ghosts to an appreciative crowd but honestly, being back on the couch was equally fulfilling.
