​Sudbury's Northern Lights Festival Boréal Gets New Pornographers, Judy Collins for 2020 Edition

Gurf Morlix, Lloyd Spiegel, Moskitto Bar and Carden Cove will also perform

Northern Lights Festival Boréal will return to Sudbury, ON, this summer from July 9 to 12, and organizers have revealed the first round of performers set to play their 2020 edition.

The festival has revealed that Canadian power-pop outfit the New Pornographers will headline the festival's July 9 programming, while American folk icon Judy Collins will close out the fest's main stage on July 12.

Additionally, organizers announced that Austin singer-songwriter Gurf Morlix, Australian bluesman Lloyd Spiegel, Toronto-based outfit Moskitto Bar and Sudbury's Carden Cove will also perform.

A press release notes that over 30 acts have yet to be announced, while also promising further details on the festival's "visual arts activities, artisans and vendors, food offerings, creative family activities, after-hours club shows and more."

Full festival passes are currently available at an earlybird rate, ahead of a price increase on January 10. Passes can be purchased online or in-person at Jett Landry Music and Old Rock Coffee.
