Long-running Prairie blues-rock outfit Wide Mouth Mason are about to release a brand new album, and Exclaim! is giving you the chance to hear it before it's officially out.
Titled I Wanna Go with You, the album hears founding members Shawn Verreault and Safwan Javed returning to their blues roots, with a heavy helping of lap steel and songs about travelling, reinvention and transition.
The album was recorded with Ryan Dahle of Limblifter, Age of Electric and Mounties, and he also plays bass on some of the songs.
I Wanna Go with You is out digitally on October 25 via We Are Busy Bodies, with CD and vinyl releases to follow.
