Stoner Metal Legends Sleep Confirm Reunion Tour for 2010

Earlier this year, it was revealed that stoner/doom metal enthusiasts Sleep might be reuniting for a North American tour. Their classic album Holy Mountain was reissued in June, and the band got back together to perform at All Tomorrow's Parties in the UK.

Now, an interview has confirmed that Sleep have dates lined up in 2010 for an East coast tour. Speaking with The Obelisk [via The Daily Swarm], Sleep member Al Cisneros simply said "There's gonna be some shows in September."

As of right now, the tour has only been narrowed down to the East coast. There's no reason to say that the run of dates will be limited to the United States, as a quick pop up into eastern Canada would not be a bad idea. Either way, we'll have to keep our ears to the ground for slow, dirge-y mumblings about the events.

The good people over at Chunklet have posted a recording of the band's ATP set, so head over there if you'd like to check it out.
