Three years on from sharing The Sciences as a special 4/20 surprise, Sleep have served up another new release for the April stoner celebration.
The band's Iommic Life, arriving today through Third Man Records, spreads both 2014's "The Clarity" and 2018's "Leagues Beneath" over a pair of 180-gram 12-inch records. Both songs previously arrived through Adult Swim's Singles Program.
The new release also features all-new artwork and etchings by Dave Kloc, while audio was remastered by Bob Weston of Chicago Mastering Service. You can hear the remastered version of "The Clarity" down below.
Iommic Life's physical edition is available on black vinyl through Third Man, while coloured variants can be found through independent records stores. Further information on the latter editions can be found here.
The Sciences marked Sleep's first full-length LP since beloved 2003 effort Dopesmoker. In 2019, the band released a quadruple vinyl live album for Jack White's label.
