Stars have returned with the second entry in their ongoing, year-long covers project. Considering the world went Kanye-crazy since the band dropped their Dylan cover in January, they've opted to toast Ye with a take on his "Street Lights."
Here dubbed "Streetlights," Stars' version of the 808s & Heartbreak ballad first rolls out a tender, melodic and organic piano melody, in place of the original's speaker-fried synth tones. Torquil Campbell's lead vocals land just as soft, with the singer comfortably sliding into Kanye's pensive cab ride narrative.
