The Beatles' iconic musical catalogue finally arrived on streaming services this holiday season, and Spotify has now revealed which Fab Four songs the world was listening to this Christmas.
The streaming service has tabulated which tracks were streamed the most, sharing lists of the top 10 most listened to songs in the United States, the UK and globally. The music arrived on Spotify on December 24, and the data collected reflects the listening patterns of users over the course of December 24 and 25.
"Come Together" took home worldwide honours, topping all three lists. "Hey Jude," "Here Comes the Sun," "Let It Be," "Twist and Shout," "I Want to Hold Your Hand" and "Help!" proved to be universally popular.
It seems that only Americans have a soft spot for "Blackbird" and "In My Life," though, while Brits and the rest of the world hold "Love Me Do" dear. "Yesterday" and "All You Need Is Love," meanwhile, turned up on the list of most streamed songs worldwide, despite being excluded from the British and American lists.
